Welcome to the alternative web site of the East Midland Unitarians
So where is the East Midlands? We are not far enough north to be part of
Yorkshire or Manchester, far enough east to be part of East Anglia, far enough
west to be part of Birmingham or Staffordshire, and not far enough south to be
part of the Home Counties. So here we sit covering the counties of
Leicestershire, Rutland, Nottingham, Lincolnshire, and most of Derbyshire

official district website which has more details
Now onto the more important question. What is a Unitarian? We are not the
URC or the Unification Church. Unitarian means belief in one God (or concept of
God) - we have no creed or dogma, so each Unitarian decides which concept or
concepts of God (or even non-God) is appropriate to their current position on
their theological or spiritual journey

Christian Churches (What a mouthful)
It is worth remembering the three tenets of Unitarianism are Freedom,
Reason and Tolerance - Freedom to believe what our Reason holds to be valid
for us, and Tolerance for other religions including all the other multi-coloured
strands in Unitarianism.

Universalist Association, The GA of U & FCC's sister body in America
Where would I worship if Unitarianism didn't exist? The Society of Friends,
Buddhist Meditation Centre, The Julian Meetings, or a very liberal mainstream
church
